Thanks, I notice it has been posted and that I'm not alone in my irritation! ;)
As for the mutated strand of annoyance, yeah, I'm not sure if it's worse in the Bones fandom simply because it's (a) done less and (b) in fics that are (sometimes) slightly better written. Either way, it still bugs the hell out of me!
