Oh, happy and sad sigh... Rodney's going to "fix" John, but that means losing weeJohn. Oh, Rodney, I feel for you.
This was perhaps one of your best emotional pieces in this 'verse. It tugged at the heart without being sappy. Seeing Rodney sitting on the floor, crying over the loss of weeJohn, was quite moving. Is he mourning that he can't be as close to John as an adult as he could with John a child? Is he worried that once John is an adult again that he won't be able to express his love for John? And yes, after re-reading your other weeJohn fics, I get the distinct impression that this is a McShep story.
Regardless, I very much enjoyed this. As for what I'd like to see in snippets or the final...hmmm, have to get back to you on that. Maybe an Atlantis PoV as she watches Rodney slowly figure out how to return John to normal?
You know I can't hardly wait for the big fic, so get busy! :)
