As for four year old John, I think my problem is that I can't stop hearing my wee cousin Kian's voice, with his Scottish accent, which means that the way I write how he says words is coloured by the fact that I'm hearing my native accent. I also appreciate that John's speech is underdeveloped for a four year old and that is something I intend to develop more. I think the main problem is that I did this backwards; I'm writing snippets and posting them before the main fic!
THanks for the feedback, I'm hoping to have something new out in this 'verse around Christmas :)
