Because I've seen it popping up everywhere on my flist and I've collected a lot of new people since I last did this meme (I like collecting people!):

Part of being on LJ is inevitably gaining a number of LJ buddies. Unfortunately, as time wears on, it's easy to forget where all of them came from. Post this in your journal and have your friends respond with how they recall first 'meeting' you.

Do you know, I think it was on the cordy/angel board first, but that stevie_jane introduced us properly on MSN, maybe? But I do remember those conversations!
